What is KADR.gallery?
KADR.gallery is a tool for cinematographers, colorists, filmmakers, post houses, and production companies to extract, organize, and share still frames from moving images.
The name comes from the Russian word "кадр" (kadr), meaning a single frame or shot in cinema.
I created KADR.gallery as a colorist, out of a very practical need: to bring order to the stills I was extracting from my own projects. I wanted a reliable way to keep track of the frames that mattered — for communication, for reference, and for returning to specific images long after a project was finished.
What started as a personal workflow evolved into a practical archive: a place to store, organize, annotate, and share frames without losing context or intent. Not an inspiration platform, but a tool for continuity, collaboration, and memory.
KADR.gallery is actively evolving, and feedback from real, everyday use is always welcome. Share feedback
